I've been reading more than posting right now. (This may change.)..and it's back on page 61 where you folks had that great exchange concerning the design of the 7.3 decals. It was great reading. Alot of good stuff there.
My question: Is there any way to maybe ask Ken to allow an announcment at the top of the first page of this forum? It should simply state that this forum does in fact have a way to identify it's members with the decals. This way new readers would have the decal info up front......and won't have to read through 61 pages to find it. I feel that it would really be positive for this forum. Just a thought.
What I was trying to say, is if a newbie comes along; and they like this forum, and decides to stick around. There should be something in the form of an announcment stating that the decals are available. Be a part of the family. Identify with the group.
They in turn tell others. More input. More views. More knowledge. More experiences. And the group would just keep growing all of the time. I know I'm never going to leave.
If we can possibly pursuade Ken to do that for us on the first page. I think that could set a standard for some of the other forums to follow. Or perhaps as people are "welcomed" to the group by the administrators in that first message they send out. Maybe a little one liner saying email here for 7.3 / PSD decals. Something like that.
Originally, we offered the decals to Ken for his resale but at the time he didn't seem interested. He did grant us clearance to sell the decals on the site, through the Forum, without any ramifications, (like getting booted off).
I guess it will be up to us members to ocassionally kick the thread to the top every once in a while?
I'm doing all I can to stay 3-4 days behind in my work right now. I have a "Immediate To Do" folder in my email software -- with 271 items, some dating back to 2001. Lots of people with lots of great ideas.... but I'm the one who has to implement them and there's only so much of me to go around.
Hey man, I didn't mean to cause offense. I kinda figured you had alot on your plate. It's a shame we as very greatful members can't give you a hand with some of it.
This is one of the best sites on the web.....and I've visited quit a few of them myself.
You folks have done a great job, and you probably don't get enough credit for it. I for one say Thank YOU! Most of us just take some of the perks of this site for granted. Kinda like not really thinking about what goes on behind the curtains. Sorry if I offended. I wasn't intending to.
