my 96 pst seems to be held back at about 2200 to 3300 rpms and blows white smoke it also makes the tranny shift hard the thing after turbo with a rod connected to , some kind of valve doesnt move but does on my brothers everytime it starts i sprayed it with wd and 2 days later it worked better than it ever had but now is back to same thing i also had my oil changed about 3 days before it worked good. if i put it to the floor in nuetral it flutters from the rpms i said and then cleans out and jumps to 3500 any ideas 96 7.3

Is this after it's fully warmed up? My first thought is a failing injector o-ring.
nope didnt work how touchy are these with the oil it was just changed but dont know what they put in can i just take that rod off the valve could the valve itself be froze? thanks
my truck smoke pretty heavily after sitting for more than 3 hours or so. i'm guessin O-rings, just gotta suck it up and swap them out. i know my EBPV isn't closed cause its on a switch (need to re-wire it). next couple weeks will bring new o-rings most likely...
