Removing Dash Trim Panels

My dad wants to install an aftermarker radio in his '99 F150 but in order to remove his current radio there is a trim piece that has to be removed to clear the bottom of the radio. It's the plastic piece that runs around the radio, vents, and climate controls. Any idea how to remove this? I thought just use a screwdriver and pry but I don't want to break it. Thanks

Yea, just turn the a/c vents to the inside grab the edge of the panel and pull. The airbag switch is still connected so don't pull it too far out.
