Backing sensors..

Is it possible to install this on an '00 Expedition that never had it. I thought I might be able to find one (bumper) at a junkyard but am curious if the plugs are still on the truck even though it doesn't have it originally.

Thoughts??

B.

I bought an aftermarket one for my truck on ebay for around $36. It works fantastic and looks stock.

Backup sensor

The wiring and connectors are in my 2000 NAV--I also bought aftermarket unit from Kmart($20). Works great except in cold weather---doesn't work below 20deg, of course I didn't know that until after it was installed 6m latter in winter. I installed two sensors on the bumper, ran the wires inside to the pillar just behind the passenger rear door where the connector is located. Then installed cut off switch on the side of the center counsel. The control unit has lights and speaker for determining how close you are
I was motivated to do this since I nearly had two accidents backing up when I couldn't see something behind me. Well worth the time but wish I had bought a better one. I think at least two sensors is important. Good Luck.
