hey guys, does anyone know of a company producing or selling inner and outer rear cab corners for the 57 - 60?, also inside the 48 - 52 cabs where the front door pillar meets the floor, there is a brace panel that incorporates the hole for a cab mount bolt, does anyone make these? replicating it with flat is easy but i can't figure how to press in the raised section that gives it all it's strength.
cya....gary
classic fabrication makes the cab mount supports anf inner rear corners, they also make replacement floors. They have a website that gives their phone number, you need to call them you can't order them online. Front floor replacements for both sides, both front cab supports and the rear inner cab corners cost me about $400.
Hey Walston!
That's exactly what I ordered from them, but...
I was a little dissapointed because I thought I was getting exact replica floorpans & cab mounts, but they are different than the originals, I'm sure you noticed.
Now I'm thinking of just splicing in certain areas to try to retain as much of the original sheetmetal as possible, but I don't know if it will work out or not because of the huge difference in the panels & mounts.
I guess I'll see when I get to that point.
Really?
Well I have'nt got that far yet but the cab mounts definately look different to me, the originals sort of angle down to where they meet the step where the one's from classic fab look straight.
Guess I'll find out soon enough!
