i have an 86 150 4x4 going to replace the shocks. any ideas what type i should look in to. what price range should i look for. everything on the truck is stock, no extras. truck just for normal everyday use. thanks

Im gonna go with Rancho RS5000's here, they are what I have on my truck, and were only $225 installed by the local off-road shop, the RS9000's are nice because they are adjustable..but who wants to go down under the truck and mess with it everytime you go off-road?

Definitely get one with a lifetime waranty like Monroe, especially if you only do a lot of street driving. If you don't go crazy with your truck often, the brutal off road brands will have a bunch of funcionality you don't need.
