wheel bearings

Knowing i have been in red clay mud many times with some deep deep ruts should i have my wheel bearings re-packed even though truck is 2004 model with 6000 miles on it?????? I hear no noises of any kind,,but was just wondering......

I would follow Ford's severe duty guidelines for service. I am not sure if they have an extreme duty plan or not. Ask your service writer next time you go for an oil change or something.

I wouldn't worry much about it at 6000 miles.
