Edel Performer coolant passage ??

I noticed the rear coolant passages are non-existent on an Edelbrock Performer intake for my 302. The stock intake has them.

Are they not needed? Anybody have trouble with overheating? Just putting this together and wondered. Thanks!

i have seen that too. i guess they arent needed on that intake. if you get an older performer 289 manifold it has them.
