I have a 92 F-150 w/ 302-e4od, Fresh engine and trans both went with in a month and I replaced both with Ford Reman. Now I am getting a check engine light and the code is 311. Right or rear HO2S sensor, Anyone know where this is.

Hi, if you mean the oxygen sensor it is located in the exhaust pipe just below the manifold. John

The book I have says that code 311 is an inoperative themactor system(pollution pump sys.) That is from Chiltons. I wood check vacuum lines and hoses related to the smog system.

I can't verify the validity of the list though....
