I thought there used to be a time limit on ads in the classifieds. Now, it seems the ads stay there forever. I had 2 ads placed, and when I found what I was looking for in one ad and sold what I was selling in the other, I deleted the ads. Why don't others do the same? Also, why don't you guys put your location in the ad?? If you are trying to sell something that can't be shipped economically, what are you hiding from? I am always looking for good deals, but if I don't see a location or a price, I don't bother.
I had contacted someone in the classifieds about buying a truck a few months ago. He had a real attitude with me on the emails about some of the questions I was asking (normal type stuff like mileage, etc). So I looked up his user name because I wanted to see where he was from and see if he was rude in any of his posts. I then found out that the truck was sold a couple of months before that. Why this guy jerked me around for no reason and didn't take the ad down is beyond me. I wound up buying a new '05.
