PSD,
Based on the time/day I would imagine it involved a race...either at the strip or on some Hendersonville backroad! Details, man details....give us some details!!! You've gotta' hold some kind of record for killing the 6.0! Maybe you should work for the big blue oval as a "tester". When I was in college at NCSU we broke so many mountain bike parts that the shop referred to us as "The Wrecking Crew". Maybe its time for a new name on FTE.
So When Will The Beefed Up Twin Turbo Be Going In, Or Is That Plan Still In The Works?
Sorry To Hear About Your Bad Luck Matt.... But U Know What Happens When U Push It
The carnage is nowhere near what we had expected- turned out fairly minor, no major short block damage. Good news for today, but I do believe it is time for interals now that the engine is out- no point in putting it back together stock only for it to come apart again.
I will post more on it soon, gotta go for right now.
Edit- Twin turbo is still a viable option once internals are done- both DPS and Hypermax have totally bolt-on setups, and will have the systems compatible with VGT soon. Only problem right now with that is $$$$$, DPS kit is 9600 and Hypermax (with air to water intercooler) is 12,300.
Notwithstanding unknown issues, the truck will see the twins sometime in its viable lifetime.

How do you find time to do all this AND go to college?
I'm actually still in HS, I graduate in May. Truck should be running again by Friday, as it the repair hasn't been bad. I suppose the HP parts can be installed at a later date.
