Hey Joe, If its not to much trouble I'm looking for headliner out of a 99-04 F250/F350 superduty crewcab, I know it maybe a big item! so I would not expect you to pick it up, just let me know if anyone has it on hand. I'm looking at do doing a fiberglass project involving a 8" monitor
What is wrong with your headliner? Normally, when you build or adapt overhead consoles (with monitors or without), you simply drill a few small holes thorugh the headliner that line up with the support crossmembers on the steel roof, then attach your "thing" through the headliner to the metal.
With my overhead console, I didn't even have to drill through the headliner at all... I used existing holes and simply added holes to the overhead console - so I can take it out someday if I wanted to...
and good luck with the fiberglass... it didn't work for me on three attempts. Speaker boxes I can do... dashboards, I cannot LMAO. That's why I'm making the new one out of steel. That reminds me, I have to finish that. Sick of driving around with the cluster on my lap.
Though, "super plenum" is almost done... finished air-chiseling off all the slag last night around 2am. It's my only free time these days!
Fred:
Nothing wrong with the headliner, What I want to do is use the liner as a form when laying down the fiberglass this way I'm assured a true fit! without having to tear out my existing liner to do this as this is my only driver and family vehicle.
