I think you got a bolt covering a 3 in front of that 50.That means its a 350 ratio.And if the bolt is covering an "L" also (which it probably isn't) then its a limited slip.The 9 on the 2nd line means that its a 9" .
Does a Ford 9" usually come with a tag, as this one was loose in the glove box of my son's newly purchased '79 Bronco. I was under the assumption that the tag was from the front diff.
Yes they do come with a tag. If found in glovebox you might want to double check the gear ratio. 3:50 is what is found in most all 78/79 Bronco's from the factory. with 4.10 Factory Option.
