FE Power Steering pics

Hi all,

So I've got a early (2 bolt motor mounts) 390. I'm looking for a power steering setup. Does anyone have pics of the pump & bracket setup? Are there different pumps/brackets used throughout the years? Like to know what I'm looking for before I go junkyarding/swap meeting. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Ron

Is this in a 2wd or 4x4?
Is it a 1/2 or 3/4?
What year, because if you have power assist you only need a steering box?
Go to the galleries. Acouple of people have posted pics on how to do it.

Thanks for the reply.

All I need is the correct pump & bracket. This is going in a 55 F-100 and the pump will be supplying a Toyota power steering box.

I've got mine apart now, so I can get a picture of the brackets later this week, maybe tomorrow.

gtex,

Your website is currently not coming up for me. I would appreciate some bracket pics when you get a chance. I normally frequent the 48-60 board, but it's almost coming time to put in this motor I built almost a decade ago. Thanks for the help!

If it is a 390 engine then the pump bracket should be the same from any FE motor, shouldn't it? Go to a junkyard and haul the whole pump and bracket right off the engine. Then all you should have to do is get proper hoses made up and the right length belt.
