I thought the best GM engine (at least in cars) is the 3800...at least my dad and brothers tell me it is

I agree on the that the 3800 is also a great engine as the buick I drive for my back and forth work car has 263k on what I beleive is the original motor. I was told by a friend whom is a mechanic that he thinks the best 3800 was built in 89' don't know his reasoning (can't remember is more like it) but he has expressed this more than once. and he has two of them that have exceeded 300k without any major engine work. I would love to see my buick go that far but I am almost certain the trans will go out before I ever get to that point as its pretty weak already. By the way 78Explore thanks for the spelling tip, I'm very poor at my grammer as far as speling goes!
