shear stable

which diesel oil is more shear stable rotella t or delvac 400+ and which one has more moly in it

I was under the impression that the Delo 400 CI + had the most moly.

I'm sure you meant Delo 400+. The Delo will have more moly, will be slightly better in shear stability due to the new basestock formulation, but the Rotella will turn in slightly lower wear metals. They both are great oils.

Too bad that the formulations on most of those oils have changed....still a good comparison however.

The Delo in that comparison doesn't appear to be of the CI+ formulation.
