Flood Damaged Engine?
Hey, I recently purchased a '99 Ranger with the 3.0 engine and I didn't notice before I bought it that the lower part of the engine is all rusty. Is this the result of flood damage do you think?
It looks like I'm in for a lot of trouble with this truck now...arg!
Let me know if this link doesn't work, I could only think of flickr to host these images...

This thing just looks like it's been living under water for a while, scaling rust seems weird. Maybe Ranger's let in more road salt than I'm used to seeing.
