Help installing AC in enclosed trailer?!

Help installing AC in enclosed trailer?!
I am wanting to put a small AC unit in the front of our enclosed trailer. I have seen this done many times to other trailers i see,but before i started i wanted to make sure i had all the info i need before tackling the task. and cutting a hole in the trailer. LOL. Has anyone on here done this before and if so what exactly is involed with Extra bracing etc. Any help will be appreciated.

Interstate and Wells Cargo has a pretty heavy gauge channel that you can use for supports. I've tap and die'd for 1/4" with no problems. ( Never installed A/C in one, but I've mounted shelves, tool boxes, drill presses, etc.) I've seen a couple of the off brands that use a thin Z bar type support for the walls. I doubt those would offer much support for AC brackets. You might have to pull a panel part way off to see what you've got.

You want to put it on the roof, not mount it to the front. The reasons; dirt will get kicked into it going down the road, a smaller fan would be needed to circulate the air on a roof top unit, most of the trailer and camper type AC manufactures make reinforcment kits for rooftop mounts.
