I can't tell if your referring to a slidein camper or travel trailer. I had considered putting the Largest slidein camper available on the Front of a gooseneck trailer with cabover part incorporated into the dimensions of the neck of the trailer. That , would leave the back party of the trailer for Atv, old ford truck, storage , etc. anyway , you get the picture. trouble is, these new slidein campers cost as much as full size travel trailers. fd
I'm looking at a 2003 10'11" Lance slide-in camper. Fully loaded with a slideout dinette, electric jacks, A/C, microwave, CD stereo, etc.
Retails for just under 40K CDN. Before I pay that kind of coin, I want to talk to a number of owners. I found a couple of RV Forums similar to FTE, but thought I'd check here first.
And you're right, they're as much as a lot of trailers due to their popularity. My Travelaire "slide-in" is worth more today than it was new!
Have you checked out the new stuff, at the RV show last month, there was a 26'-28' fifthwheel, made here in BC, that had living quarters in the front half and the back of it was a ramp that opened into a mobile garage. Big enough for your ATV, Jet Ski, or a couple of Harleys and all the tools.
