Duct tape plant explodes

This just in from an online edition of 'Lectronic Latitude...Explosion at South Carolina Duct-Tape Plant

http://www.latitude38.com/LectronicL...#anchor1085433

April 1 - Columbia, SC

We know it sounds like an April Fool's Joke, but it's not. An explosion late Wednesday at the Intertape Polymer Group plant at Columbia, South Carolina, killed one worker, sent a fireball high into the air, and shook homes a mile away.
It's believed there will not be an immediate shortage of duct tape, which is commonly used to keep sailboats, sailing gear, and sailors in one piece.

Edit: (and old trucks, and the folks who love them...)

I hope Red Green survived, I heard he was at that plant picking up his usual delivery.

Hopefully they don't make the FAA approved duct tape for the airlines. I am suprised Red Green never became an airline mechanic.
