Walker Downpipe - Part # 45166

This is the "Y" pipe I believe (I hope). I recently ordered this from Rock Auto (www.rockauto.com), $50.79, it is supposed to arrive today...

45166 is just the down pipe without the converter. It also has an O2 sensor bung.

Not to hijack but I am planning on ordering that and a highflow cat. I have a 95 4.9L, so I need one with an air injection port, but my question is can i turn the cat 90 degrees along its longitudinal axis so it doesn't hang as low as the stock cat?

It can be turned on an 45 and not hang as low.

Mine arrived yesterday. Here's a picture:

Notice the O2 sensor port mentioned in other posts. I don't need this port. Any idea what size and type of fitting I need to plug this up? Also, would I need some type of sealant on the threads, or would that not be necessary?

It will turn 90 deg but it will be too close to the tranny/transfer case and cause too much heat in them.

The O2 bung can be pluged with an old O2 sensor or have a shop weld the hole closed before install.

You may test fit the cat to see and you may have room to move it back a few inches but keep it away from things that don't like heat!
