Everytime we shut are aeros door the muffler rattles. I know we need to replace the muffler. But is that caused by the muffler. Or something that needs to be tighting. And we have a huge scratch on our drivers side door. It was caused by this huge dog that happend to see are dog. And scratched the heck out of the door. Thanks fordguy101

I would check your muffler and exhaust brackets some may be broken, bent or missing. Also check the nuts and bolts that hold the exhaust system in place.

wet sand the scratch using 2000 grit wet/dry paper, going against the scratch, not with it. the paper feels like velvet, but will frost the scratch out of the clear coat. then use polishing compound, then swirl mark remover, then wax.

never use rubbing compound, its too rough!

dogs claws shouldnt have gone through the clear. as this repair only really works if the scratch is not through the clearcoat.

I would first try polishing compound and Wax. If that does not work then move up too sanding.

Or just have the neighbor's dog shot. Hmm, maybe I'm being overly passionate, but our neighbor has a couple big stupid dogs, that definitely need to be shot. One of them actually bit my brother on the hand as he opened our gate. It drew blood. I wish my brother had reported it, because that would have been that last straw, and that beast woulda been put down by now.

forgot to mention.....

i think its meguir's, or mothers, cant remember, but they make this putty stuff, that you flatten into a pancake and then spray a solution onto your car, then rub the putty "pancake" all over your car. it kn***** off the orange peel finish, and makes the paint like glass. its soooo sweet! try it all over, not just the scratches!
