quick axle questions...
Just looking at used rear axles online. I've found a few '99 and newer axles. here are my questions:
1. looking for 4.10's, 8.8", LSD- what and where are the codes on the axle
2. what does the "N" mean in 4.10N (some are listed this way)
3. what can I expect to pay- most are listed at $350-450.

Should be a metal tag on the diff cover. You want to see something like
4 L 10 8.8
L is in there for limited slip. 4 10 is open diff.
