i'm looking at changing the stock speakers out on my truck...is there any clearence issues that i need to consider...i asked at a audio shop about what would be good speakers for an f-250...they told me Boston Acoustics NX87 5x7...have any of you got other tips and other speaker choices...thanx alot
what is the best in car speaker i can buy...for the ford 6x8 what company?..what should i get for the best sound quality...2-way, 3-way...i want to get some soon but i don't want to buy anything but the best...
I have The Boston NX 87's in my 97 and love them!! much clearer and better bass response than other speakers i've had in the past well worth the money IMO... keep in mind that a good speaker is only 1/2 the battle.... a good deck and maby an amp will further your listining experence!! I have Mine setup with an alpine deck (pictured below) and connected to the factory premium sound amp, it's loud and CLEAR!! no distortion at all even loud... now all i need it time to design a custom fiberglass enclosure for the 2 12" JL subs i have laying around and i'll have a compleated system!! Good Luck!!
I have the Pioneer 3 ways in the rear, no point spending gobs of money of those since they are mainly for filler. Spend the cash on replacing the speakers in the doors. I have the Infinity Reference 6002i, and they sound amazing. The Kappa series would be even better
I have an 01 and I'm interested in getting a single din cd player receiver but I would like to see a picture of it first and what it looks like in the double din compartment in the dash..Can anyone help me out with a picture? thanks

This is a picture from my F150. The F250 uses the exact same kit, and looks exactly the same, except the hole above the radio is a bit different and deeper.
Thanks Superrangerman, after looking at the picture I'm definitely going to get a single din receiver with the kit...I don't think the double din receivers are worth the extra money
