wow................... that was awsome, im gonna send my moms old saturn down there and watch them work wonders, i wish. imagine pullin some crazy stuff like that on a psd, crazy.
I love the performance of cars down there, but what is it with the styling? The Falcon and Holden Commodore both look like camry knockoffs. Granted, camry knockoffs with rwd and high power numbers, but come on! Where's the style?
I honestly don't know what is with the styling either, I don't mind it, I actually think some of the cars look quite elegant, but they certainly aren't a Chyrsler 300C in that department.
The last Falcon looked a lot like a Taurus, and was publicly rejected because of that. Everyone thought it looked ugly (me included).
We are very conservative with our styling, for example Australians think the Monaro (Pontiac GTO) is one of the most beautiful cars created.
The majority of Australians were horified (I am not joking here) when Holden put bonnet scoops and side exit breathers for the engine on it for the American market.
The public is far more concerned about ride/handling, reliability and power than they are with styling.
Whether you think thats a good thing or not is each persons own opinion, but one things for sure, when you are driving it you can't see the styling, so it doesn't matter, but you can feel whats under your right foot...
