The stock 406 cam was a C3AZ-6250-D and has a upside down "A" followed by a "B" right side up located between the last lobe and journal. It has a 306 duration and .500 lift. Not sure if this is what you have but this was stock 406 anyway. Excellent cam from the day. Is the balancer you have to sell the original 406 balancer? I'm looking for one and could you tell me the number off it? And when the auction starts the item number? Sounds like some nice stuff and good luck! G.
i cant find a number on the balancer....the only number iv seen is between two holes and it looks like they were stamped over the holes but i cant make them out...if you can tell me where to look i can scrape some paint off a see
If you can unbolt the balancer from the pulley it's not a 406 balancer. These had the pulley and balancer molded together. And it's been so long since I've had one can't remember where the number is. On the std FE balancer the number is on the outside and spaced between the holes. G.
