Passenger side mirror???
my wife hit another car and knocked the passenger side mirror off. There are no scratches and the glass is fine. The car is a 2000 Nissan Altima. Does anyone know if I can just put it back on? It looks like it just snaps back into place, but it does not stay there. Does anyone know how these mirrors are installed, I don't want to pay a dealer if it is easy.

We have a 98 & had the DS ripped off.....
Until I could get a new one, I rigged to old one.
1. remove the 3 threaded posts from the door. The little black triangle piece inside the car just pops off.
2. use 2 part epoxy to re-insert the posts into the mirror.
3. let cure for 24 hours
4. re-install the mirror.
