63 uni rear bumper value
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what a rear bumper would be worth?It is a chrome bumper off a 63 uni. its straight and has one ding in it. the chrome isn't the best so it would need rechromed. I have some pics but not sure how to get them on this site.I can send them to regular e-mails. I have had some people ask about it but not sure what its worth. thanks alot

I bought one for $150 with brackets and bolts, straight with no dings and then paid $100 to have it rechromed. I still think I got a good deal. If I'm not mistaken the chrome ones only came on Custom Cab trucks, somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

The bumper used on the 61 to 63 model 66 is a carry over from the 57 to 60 fridge line incluing bracketry. and also on the 61 to 66 81 series units with the carry over bed.
Typically the chrome bumpers were used on a custom cab. However most rear bumpers were a dealer installed option in most states. Hence the western style wrap around and the eastern style standard bumpers.
They are rare to the person selling one who expects to make his kids collage money on the sale,or as much as one is willing to spend for it. But there are quite a few 57 to 66s out there with a correct bumper.
