Arrow Let's Help a Member

As you all probably know Mark (Pesties3) is kind of out of commission right at the moment . Well it seems he has this big tree that is down in his back yard and really needs to get it cleaned up before it kills the grass and all . So lets see if we can get some members together and help Mark get that old tree out of his back yard and gone . So how many volunteer's do we have to go over and give Mark a hand? Not often we have a member in need but this time I am afraid he won't be much good trying to do it himself especially with a bad leg and all. So here is the time that all us members can step up and help one of our own.

By the way if anyone is in the need of fire wood now would be a great time to load up.

If I can catch a ride from someone in Wichita I'm all in for it. I can get a trailer and probly a chainsaw if we need.

[QUOTE=fordborn]Pesties3[QUOTE]

Who's Pesties3?? Is that like testes, most people I know only have two.

Where can get a Gerbil skin cap? Can get a gerbil skin cap at store, very tiny though.

Sorry Rollie, Angelia caught these and I couldn't resist.

I am speachless!! More so than usual!!!!

I don't know what to say. I mean it really means a lot to me that people are willing to change any plans they may have for a day normally planned for the family, rest and getting their own honey do lists done. I can not put it in words as to what this means to me.

The plan was, I needed to get this tree down in the back yard before mother nature took it down. It was already laying on the power line that feeds our house.
I figured, I would be fully recovered from my accident that happened in Nov. of 04 to be able to get this tree out before spring hit!! Well 4 months to the day, I had another accident that will render me useless for 4 to 6 months.
Now that the toe is on the road to recovery, the doc needs to sched. reconstructive knee surgery. I have been down this road before and the recovery time is quite long.

I wish there is someway I can make this up to you all. One thing for sure is that there will be some grub to eat for all those that show!!!

I know that money is tight. It is tight in my house as well. We are really feeling the effects of the higher cost of living (and driving). With the amount of work I have and will be missing it is going to get even tighter!!!

So if anyone can not make it, I fully understand. I truely feel that if the circumstances were any different that you could/would be there at a moments notice.
The recent events in my life have changed my whole out look on things. Life is fragile and when one little thing happens, it changes everything in your life and those surrounding it. Little things like, how often do the stairs get swept, or carpets get vacuumed, or the floors get mopped.
Or how long does a light fixture in the stairway stays broke. Yes, I have a fixture broke that will stay broke until I can get on a ladder/scaffold to get it fixed!!! I typically don't let things like this go undone.

But sometimes people get to involved in the day to day happenings to really sit back and look at what you are truely blessed with and those little blessings are free. My son has been a real trooper in my recent change in mobility. Bless his heart, he tries really hard!!! He has said that he will do his best to keep the lawn up this year. That phrase coming out of the mouth of a 7 yr. old babe is, well how can you put a price on that.

My journey down this road is just beginning though it seams like I have been on it since November. So to put it words that really expresses how I feel for the gratitude being offered here, well it is not possible.
So with that comment, I will see you guys Sunday! (And Saturday!!!)

Mark

Mark

Wsih I could come and make it but like everyone else money is way to tight for a road trip. The trip to Chicago to see the wifes adopted family took any savings we had and then some. If you need anything later this summer around the yard just give me a holler, I am usually free on Fridays for just about anything. All I ask is for an ice cold beer when I am done
