If you were waiting fo the red trucks outside Emporia then you must have left 2 days earlier than they did

Ok lets get this thread back on track. We are going to meet at Marks around 12 to 1 this Sunday. Looks like we got plenty of help but will welcome all that can make it. I want to thank everyone who has volunteered to help Mark out on this and it makes me proud to be a part of a group that comes to another's aid when needed.

Oh yeah, Mark I will try and get there early and move your boat out of the way. Way out of the way. LOL

Guys,

Duane just called looking for Rollies number. I didn't have it so he can't call. Duane said 5 trucks broke down last night so he's stuck at work trying to get them all running for tomorrow. He said to tell you sorry he couldn't make it.

Thanks Jon.

Sorry I couldn't make it guys, had 5 trucks down and 3 of them were scattered all over town. I wanted to leave around 10 or so but by that time I hadn't even gotten all the trucks back to the shop yet lol. One of these days I promise I'll get one of those "days off" that everyone keeps telling me about and I'll head up into your neck of the woods for a g2g.

Mark, hope they got your tree issue dealt with and that you still have a boat lol. get well soon buddy

Well the tree is gone! The smaller stuff is sitting by the curb and we delivered the big stuff to one of Austin's friends dads. I'm little sore after playing lumber jack all day but it was good to see everyone. And I was glad that I could help a fellow member out.

Yup things are cleaned up and stacked out by the street.

Thanks to all that came out and helped it was really appreciated. Things like that make the chapter strong and keep us united.

Duane we heard about the problems at work and understand completely. The thought was still there and the intent genuine so rest assured we are appreciative. I will email number for future reference.

Mark , we were happy to be able to help you out man and if there is more you need just ask.

I can not tell you what this meant to me and my family!!! We really appreciate all of the help we recieved on sunday!!!! It really restores my faith in how humans are in that there is some kind people out there that are willing to give and ask for nothing in return!!!

We had the chance to meet a new person there as well!!
I was in the back yard help Jeff, getting in the way is more like it, and then a guy walks into the back yard carrying a chain saw, started it up and went to work!!!
I asked him later what his name was, Mike, and that he goes by the screen name of 67 Ford. The whole day, I watched in amazement as to what people will do for another!!!
Sorry, I could not be of much help!!! I felt guilty!!!!!!

The fellowship was a real treat, the weather was beautiful, it truely was inspiring to see!!!

There is little if any evidence that there was ever a tree in that yard!!! When it was all clean, Joe even mowed the grass!!!!

Cheers to all of the Ks. chapter members and family!!!!!!!

Mark

Mike, It was a pleasure to have the help and meet you. It is something when a person just jumps right in and helps another out with out asking for anything in return nor expecting it. You were very gracious in helping and I want to thank-you from all of us. Just to bad the first time you meet with some of us we put you to work. LOL

You're right Joe, I have yet to meet anyone that can stand around as good as you do. Maybe you could give lessons, do I need to shift my weight from time to time to keep my feet from falling asleep?
