Here's a thread I started over in the inline six forum to try and get the Trucks! program to build a 300. I realize that not all of you guys run tractor motors in your trucks, but any extra email comments will help.
I went ahead and sent one for ya. I have to say I'm not much for anything less than a v-8 but the 300-6 is a brute of a motor and really would make for a cool project.
Thanks Duane. My experience with Ford truck motors has been 300's or big blocks (390 &460) (except for a couple diesels). I like those too, but I've managed to own 300's. The Big Blocks were my Father-in-law's, when I was ranching with him.
I like the idea of builds that aren't just like everyone elses, so the thought of having them do some kind of project and use the 300 would definitely stick out.
