Rear speed sensor.

Can someone tell me if the rear speed sensor also controls the cruise control? I thought this sensor has a multifunction but wasnt sure if the cruise was included. My cruise went out and I have checked everthing (I think) regarding its failure. Thanks for any replies

Cruise works off it also. I had to replace mine a while back and it did make the cruise control act funny before i replaced it.

I had to replace mine last year for an ABS light. I bought it at NAPA for about $11.

the sensor effects anything that is related to vehicle speed. buy it aftermarket to save you some $$$. easy to change out.

Where is the rear speed sensor. My cruise control dosen't work and if I can fix it for $11, gee I think I'll do that.

It's on the top side of the rear axle.
Just take a look, it's easy to spot. Only one bolt to remove to get it out (as far as I can remember).
