I'm taking mine in today, for an obnoxiously loud whistle, its gotta be the turbo, but not sure why? No loss of power and only does it at idle or while the RPMS are dropping, coming to a redlight, or stopsign etc... I've got Turbo back exhaust, and somehow the Catylitc gasket broke, we thought thats what started the whistle , but I got it replaced and it still does it. I disconnected the EGR and it still does it. Mine does shudder every now and again, I pull about the same weight, loaded I'm right at 26k and it only does it for a few yards from dead stop takeoff. I've also noticed that even though my pyrometer never got above 1200, that the Temp gauge (factory) climbed a few times up really high, and it kicked the clutch fan on...as soon as I backed off and the pyro went back to around 1000 the Factory temp gauge dropped back to normal.. I checked the radiator fluid and it was sopping full.
