Our truck

I've decided to get rid of the 78 4x4 F-150 Lariet that my wife and I have rebuilt the engine in, I want a 92 to 94 Dodge Dakota V-8 now, would love to just swap for one. I was just wondering if any of you guys would know anyone interested?

I love the V-8 Dakota's I had one a few years ago but had to get did of it for a van to make it easier to get around, now I am able to get back in one. I require a truck that's low to the ground, and has the right amount of space in the driving area, I'm paralized, gotta have the legroom for entry. I have been in and out of full size trucks, they sit too high, and the mini's are too cramped, the Dakota's are perfect.

Yeah - but I just recently went through the "CHANGING THE HEATER CORE" issue with them for a friend of mine-

You don't want to wish it on yourself, if it comes up.
It took a long time, the manuals were a joke, and the labor cost if we could not have done it is immense.

I swore I would never wish it on myself after seeing it close up.

Gimmee my '82, with three bolts and a quick swap to it.

All vehicles are like that, I saw where a guy changed the heater core in his 98 F-150, had to jack the dash out, drop the steering column, then the door in the box broke when he went to open it up to get at the core. Ford only sells it in a kit, you have to buy the entire heater box, someone on one of the boards working in the service dept got him the part he needed.
I don't like the old Dakota and hate their gutless V-6 and 4 banger.

Well, there it is. I once swore I'd never own anything with wheels on it that was made after 1972, but the mid eighties trucks have turned out to be the perfect hotrod chassis for me...

I guess we all go with what we're comfortable with in the long run.
