Transfer Case ID
[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 04-Mar-01 AT 09:23 PM (EST)[/font][p]I need to replaced the rear seal on my F150, so I figured I'd replace my front seal on my transfer case while I was in there, but the tag has fell off, so now I have no idea how to find out. I talked to the parts dept at the dealership, and he said that there was 2 cases for that year truck. I see Borg-Warner on the side of it, and a few part numbers, but he said they won't help. Any ideas anyone?

I'd almost put money on it that it's a 1356. The 1345's weren't as common on those year trucks. My 1356 (90 F-150 4x4) says it right on the rear of the case (if I remember correctly).
