I'm 26 and bought my 2002 F-250 Lariat Crew Cab 4X4 PSD last night. This is one sweet truck. I was towing our 25', 5,500 pound travel trailer with my wife's Tahoe. The Tahoe is an inadequate tow vehicle. I LOVE this Ford. I never thought I would say that being a die hard Chevy guy all my life. I am catching a lot of grief from my family and friends who know that I have been a Chevy lover forever, but it's worth it! Matt
Well I'm a little late but oh well,
I was 17 when I got my 2002 F-250 5.4 Reg cab. I actucally got the truck about 2 weeks before I was 18 and had the loan, It helps to work on the Ag loan officer's farm , And yes this is my own money (or at least my name is on the loan, not cosigned), and up until last fall when I started going to college I paid everything but insurance. Now since I'm paying for my own school, my folks help me out with fuel and insurance, which is 1800/year I believe.
Sorry for being so long winded, but its good to see some other younger Superduty owners out there.
Yeah rock on. It really is great seeing all these younger guys that own trucks. It's one thing to own a half-ton, but owning a Heavy Duty or Super Duty truck is what it's all about.
Im 17 and have owned my 00 F-250 reg. cab 5 speed for a year and a half. I bought it with my own money, and searched for about 6 months on the internet before I found it. So far I have made many mods to it, including making my own headache rack, with rails.

Not sure what the cutoff is for being young, but I was once told you are only as old as you feel. I am 33, some days I feel 83, but feeling young today! I have a 2004 F250 4X4 fully paid for, and 2005 F350 4X4 not paid for, at least not for another 5 years. Nothing was handed to me, both are a result of hard labor since the age of 16. I was always a Chevy guy, then had nothing but problems with them. Then for a short while I was die hard Dodge Ram guy until I bought a 97 Ram 1500 4X4. Transmission rebuilds every 15-20000 miles, and a slew of other B.S. problems. I can get A plan because my dad works for Ford. I liked the way the Superdutys looked, researched , and decided I could not do without one. These have to be the best trucks ever made. I have razzed by die hard Chevy guys that Ford is a 4 letter word. My answer is always yes it is a 4 letter word, but I would rather buy a Ford and be FORD (ED) , than buy a Chevy and be _ _ _ _ E D!!
I thought 38 was young. I have owned 3 150's previously and am now the proud owner of an 05 350 CC 6.0 Auto LB 4X4 Lariat Dark Stone w/Arizona Beige everything but a moonroof. Absolutely love it. 18,000 problem free miles.

I have a 66 coupe and a 94 pace car Wife has an 03 Mini cooper S Just picked up a 93 Probe, I have a 65 F350 dump truck(wip) I have a great deal on Ins but its still ALOT... I keep asking for the Fleet rate...
I'm 25 and picked up the 99 F250 Powerstroke when I was 22. My wife is 26 and we picked up her 00 Excursion Powerstroke late in 03.
The full insurance on the F250 has always been around $800-900 per year and the Excursion is around $1,300 per year. It helps having the 5 vehicle full insurance discount!!!
