Front Cable

Anyone tell me the short version of changing the front parking brake cable on a 92 AWD? Does the PB lever have to be disasembled or is there another way? Looks like I have to cut the body off the frame to get at it but must be an easier way.

There is no front parking brake cable. The lever inside is hooked to the rear brake system.

You have to get under it as well as inside the van to unhook the cable connection and hook up your new one.

Well I guess that would be the front one! My question is how do I get it out, Do I have to take out the handle?

No the handle stays in. Follow the cable from the under side to where it hooks up. You will see how it works. The cover inside has to come off to see the connection.

I see where the cover comes off but I see no way to get the cable fed down to the hole in the floor w/o taking out the handle assembly, which means the dvrs seat as well.
