I realize they have the same bolt pattern but the 460 has the same pattern I would not think they use the same tranny for all these trannys. Are they all built and geared the same. I am planning on really upping the HP and am wondering if I should also be looking into a different tranny. Mabee a built AOD I know they have a wide selection of aftermarket upgrades for these trannies

I am checking, I know they offer ditterent T-5 for 4-cyl and 8-cyl and AOD are geared different for differeent models. I never looked much into F-150 specs. Mostly Mustangs have been my experience.
