I have a 1988 f150 xlt lariat 4x4, however, a couple of the truck shops here in spokane suggest it looks like a factory lift...how can I tell?
One of the things that most agree on is the factory sway bar attached to the front along with some type of lift arm welded to the frame...
No such thing as a factory lift. Highboys refer to 1967-1977.5 4x4 F-250s, and no other trucks. Many of these trucks came with a fron sway bar, but I'm sure we'd all like to see pics of this lift arm. I'm not quite sure what that might be.
Post some details pictures of the suspension, especially where it connects to the frame.
It does look a bit higher than the usual factory F-150, and in the only picture that sorta shows it, the radius-arm mount to the frame looks like it is lower than factory.
Of course, it could be a lift installed later, or even by the dealer. What gives people the impression that it is a factory lift?
