I just upgraded from a 1990 F250 gas, to a 1999 F250 Powerstroke Diesel. What kind of horsepower does this motor have? Where do I look to find what rear end is in this truck? It has an automatic transmission, and I really like the truck. I am looking more for infrmation than any real need.
Welcome CCB, you will find way bunches of info here if you just troll around here and have fun. Way more to read and follow up on than anyone person can get too in one day LOL...
Figure on the axle ration for that truck to be 3.73 but you can look on the axle for a tag that should have the ratio on it. Also you have a sticker just inside the drivers door, there is a axle code; get that and post it and someone will be able to help like that too.Have fun on the site.
If I remember right the early 99's had 225 hp and later 99 PSD's were rated at 235hp. They upgraded the turbo mid-year. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
