That Time Again
I dont but I have that 86 Bronco plow truck but it has a puked Aod so it wont be plowing snow
I plow snow for extra money. I'm running a 7-1/2' Fisher power angle non-electric (belt driven) on my '79 F150 4x4. I sub contract plowing for a big landscaping outfit here in New Jersey, and will get called out for 3" or more. It's mostly big parking lots and I average about 13 hours per average sized storm. It's getting near time for me to check everything out and make sure it's working.

Where it comes up to Viers Mill road, it dips steeply down to Rock Creek Park.
At the bottom of that hill, when the snow ices, you can count on unprepared cars sliding back down to a stop. And it was there that I used to see a 4X4 parked with a tow rope...
It was a jeep CJ, with a 327 (5-letter word) in it. And that guy could easily be replaced by a Bronco, by the way...
Everyone who slid back down would see him sitting there with a thermos of coffee, a smile on his face, and hear the famous words:
Twenny bucks, and I'll get you out of this. Or fifty for a tow truck... Cash on the barrelhead.
The guy cleared $900 a night doing that...
