1988 Ranger Engine Controls
I pulled an engine out of another ranger to replace the one I had with cracked heads. I have the engine all mounted I just have the electric wiring to hook up. Anyone have a clue where the wires go? Or where I can get a diagram showing where all the connections hook up at?

Uh oh, you overlooked taking lots of pictures before yanking the old engine. What I would do now is lay the wiring out on the engine, look at the connectors and components as well as the configuration of the plugs, pay attention to wire lengths too, and chances are it will fall into place. If the wiring harness was secured to the engine, reattach it to the engine first then work from there.

I posted that for a friend and he went ahead without looking it over and marking things so we were screwed. I got another truck that was the same exact thing and compared them and took 30 minutes to get it all wired up. Thanks anyways
