leaf springs

i would like to know if changing the leaf springs in a half ton and using some from a 3/4 ton would be a bolt in job no modification it has the 3.00 open 9 inch just wanted a little less sag in the rear.

They should go right in.But I'd measure them first,eye to eye.If I remember correctly they're both 2 1/2'' wide.

i think they are different widths, try measureing the distance from hanger to shackle, because im sure you will have to use the 3/4 ton shackles and hangers too........

what year of truck are you working on, and what year are the springs coming off of. If your putting springs from a 73-77 1/2 3/4 ton no..they won't work. But if you are using the springs from a 77 1/2 and up 3/4 ton or 78 and newer bronco they all have the same 3" wide spring. Belive it's 55 1/2 c-c or so between the bolts. Shackles, hangers, etc are the same
