Any Effie vendors for Portland Swap?

I go annually and it seems like the weather alternates year by year! 2 yrs ago I got VERY wet in my outside stall! I asked the same question on March3 on the 48-52 fenders thread but no response. There was a guy from the Oregon coast last year with a slew of 48-56 parts for all models but I lost his card & parts sheet. Nothing in my stall this year as my '49 is apart.

I know one vendor and one club with old Ford stuff who will be there:
Jimbo's Nifty Fifties, owner Jim Watkins, Phone 503-631-2401, bjwat@hevanet.com. Short article on him at: http://www.northwestclassicautomall....?pid=15&step=2
Jim is the president of Henry's Half Tons, a local club that will have a booth as well http://www.henryshalftons.com/Suppor...astPresent.htm
I have a Volare front clip I'm trying to unload (posted on this site in the classifieds) and will have a flyer at one of those booths.
I too am looking for a bunch of stuff and hope my wife lets me spend the whole weekend there!

As far as Professional vendors, the Bob Drake website lists the Portland swap meet as one of their stops. I'm taking Friday off and am bringing my wife so we can haul as much stuff out of there as we can! It's good to see Jim Watkins will be there, he seems to be a good local resource. Been looking forward to this one since I left last years!

I wish I could go this year but will be working out of town. If anyone catches glimpse of a 57-62ish Short wide bed in decent shape take down some names and numbers for me if you can. I have a lead on another 59 truck with all body work done...gonna make a nice parts truck...too bad another long bed and need a shortbed.
Thanks

Also... as a side note.
There was a vendor there last year, Vintique (sp?) who had a table full of chrome items, exterior mirrors, dome lights, etc. with "blemishes". I was hard presseed to find the blemishes in the pair of mirrors I took home for $25 a pop but I did after awhile. No one else has been able to detect them so they were more than worth the money.
They were set up in one of the main halls. Might be worth lookin for if your in the market for good stuff on a budget.

Well,
I'm sitting here in the hotel room in Vancouver, WA typing on the laptop. Today was a blast! The weather actually held out and the rain stayed away. Talked to Jim from Jimbo's and Henry's halftons. Nice guy, had a pretty decent 56 panel for sale. My big purchase for the day was a nice Chevy van steering column for $100. Should work out perfect with the Toyota swap. Some decent used sheet metal to be had as well.

Goob, I used to live in Vancouver. I sure miss being up that way. There seemed to be quite a few shops that I noticed when I lived up there...Didnt have my truck back then so never really stopped at any, but now Im in southern Oregon I see places all the time in books and magazines and know exactly where they are. I guess its getting close to driving up that way for old times sake and stopping at a few shops for some parts
Too bad I cant get up there for the meet
