'96 302 Won't Start When It's Wet/Damp Outside
My 1996 F150 will NOT start when its raining, damp, or just wet outside after sitting for a few hours. It starts every time when it dry. It acts as if it isn't getting any fuel, or no spark. If it has been running, and it starts to rain, it will start up, but not if its been sitting for a few hours or overnight. Anyone ever run into this?

Try spraying WD-40 on all of the plug wires and coil wire. It will displace water. If the truck starts you should replace the plug wires, and be sure to use dielectric grease in the wire boots. It also doesn't hurt to put some of the grease on the metal contacts of the rotor inside of the distributor cap.
