Can anyone tell me what model rancho shocks come standard on the 2003 ford 4x4. Are they rancho 5000 or something else. Also will this type of shock change the ride on my 2000 ford 150 4x4. Will a 2003 stock rancho shock fit on a 2000 4x4.

I cannot answer your question completely, but when a manufacturer supplies a component to an automaker, thay usually do not identify which of their standard products it may be similar to. That way, the automaker gets more of the replacement business (which they usually insist on).
The Rancho's from a 2003 would probably fit a 2000, but check an application guide at any supplier. And yes, they would change the ride, depending on what's existing; probably for the better, depending on what you're looking for.
