Loose ground wire? Dash lights...
'96 Ranger 4.0, 125k miles (w/ the stupid lifter tick, tick, tick)
I got rear ended last week. Not very hard, minimal frame damage. Ever since then, I've had a problem with the dashboard illumination lights. The ones that light the gages only after you turn on parking or headlights. At first, I couldn't get them to work. Checked all fuses, and connection behind the speedo cluster. Got mad, slammed the hood shut, then they worked. Does this sound like a loose ground. They will stay on but sometimes flicker while driving. Any ideas on locations?
