05' Expy Mods
Brand new to the site. Seems like there is a lot more action on the Expy forum here than on other sites.
I just recently got an 05' XLT 4x4 DSG w/ HD Tow, Running Boards, Roof Rack, Etc... it has about 1200 miles on it and the ride is amazing. Here is a list of the mods I have done to it so far even though it is the wife's:
1) Changes the crappy Conti's out on the way home from the dealer. Toyo Open County A/T's - Stock size
2) Flowmaster SISO. I went to 3 different shops to put a SIDO on but no one could get the drivers side pipe through. The independant suspension is amazing, but no luck with dual exhaust.
3) Xcalibrator Custom Tune. 87 tow, 91 tow, 91 Perf. Currently running 87 tow until I get 91 in the tank. 1st impression on 87 is very good. Much more responsive and the shift points and shift firmness make it a lot more fun to drive. Can't wait to see what the 91 perf tune will do.
4) Hucky Liners - A must to keep the carpets looking new w/ 3 kids getting in and out all the time.
5) Eclipse AVN2454, Eclipse 5x7 3-way speakers, 10" drop down screen with seperate DVD for the kids. I can play a movie up front for the wife or have the nav on with the radio/CD and a different movie playing in the back for the kids w/ wireless headphones.
6) AirAid intake. Just released this week. Part #400-166. Should have within a week or so.
As soon as i figure out how to post some pics on here and the weather clears up I will create a gallery.
