Torque Shift Trans

Hi everybody this is the first post in this forum. I am going to buy an 06 350 single wheel cc later this year. I have a 00 350 with a 7.3 now, I love this truck, but its time for a new one. I am leaning towards a V10. The question I have, is the 5spd auto behind the V10 the same as the 6.0. Does it have the tow/haul and shift up and down auto or can you control a little more manually.

I think it's the same except for the gears and shift points.

Even the gears are the same. You can control it manually, too. There is a 3, 2, and 1 position on the shifter if you want to shift manually.

there are some differences in PCM programs but both are identical units.

I think the new V10, Torqueshift and 4.30:1 gears is the BEST tow haul truck on the road today

it's the same trans. shifts like demon at full pedal. go for the v10 pocket 4400 dollars for more toys at order.or look at it as 4400 less in payments
