Help! PS2 Splinter Cell - Pandora Tommorrow

Any PS2 Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorrow gamers out there. I am so stumped on this thing. I'm to the part where I'm supposed to meet Shetland in the Jungle. I've been all the way to the cave that has two gaurds at it, still no Shetland... so I disposed of the guards, repelled to the ledge in the cave, climbed up that thing on the left... the dog barked until the sound drove me insane so I shot him. Anyway, I can't find any way off this ledge. I've shimmied across the wood beam that you climb up too... it just dead ends at a crack in the rocks. I've tried jumping down, that just kills me. I've shot sticky cams everywhere looking for a ledge or something I'm missing and all are dead ends. Can anyone tell me where to go from here?

The only walk throughs and hints I can find online are for X-Box and the game play seems to differ a lot on this level.

Thanks,
John
